At Eastside Allied Health, LLC we have specialized our scope of practice to physical medicine and the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Our medical doctors and certified physician assistant and nurse practitioner work together to help devise a treatment plan that will work for you. Our medical staff will help diagnose and treat your condition by beginning with a consult, taking a case history, performing an exam and ordering any diagnostic studies if necessary (x-rays). If further diagnostic studies are indicated, our medical staff will make the appropriate referral (MRI, CT Scan, etc.) If necessary, medication(s) may be prescribed as part of your treatment plan.

IONTOPHORESIS is one of the more effective forms of medicated treatments in dealing with musculoskeletal pain. Iontophoresis is the process by which medication, usually dexamethasone and lidocaine, are introduced into a joint or small body part via electrical current. It is non-invasive, painless and it eliminates potential side effects and adverse reactions which can occur with medications delivered orally or by injection. It has proven to be effective in treating the following joint pain/inflammation: shoulder pain, elbow pain, knee pain and ankle pain. Our staff is skilled and trained in this procedure.

If upon further evaluation our medical staff believes your condition is not musculoskeletal related,they have the extensive training and background to refer you to the appropriate health care professional and will ensure your health remains the top priority.
